Description
A buddy of mine and indy comic writer, Joseph Crossett, has asked me to work with him on an idea he would like to pitch.... I've read the script and it is unlike any story I've read before. So I'm pretty excited to try and help him realize his vision. I plan on illustrating each page entirely in vector format (Adobe Illustrator CS2), with a little help from some references and pencil sketches here and there.
Let me know what you think, and please do not pull any punches.... I want this to look the absolute best I can make it. I've noticed a recent tug-of-war here lately on deviantart.... one that seems bent on determining who can and cannot be critiqued, and who can and cannot do the critiquing. My philosophy is that if something doesn't look right, it probably isn't right. And we can all learn from everyone. My experience from the past is that if someone suggests an improvement, 9 times out of 10 taking the time to make the change makes my artwork look THAT MUCH BETTER. And isn't that the goal here? Don't be afraid of hurting my feelings, if you see something wrong then please point it out!

That's some very sharp work there. I really can't believe you are doing it all in illustrator. The end effect is very clean which is desirable and professional looking. I look at it and I try to come up with something that could be improved on but I can't do it. The backgrounds and attention to detail are great as is your choice of colors. I really like the style you are developing here as well. I look forward to seeing more.
