If you haven't seen my recent journal, go check out the beta release of the one level demo for Megaman X: Eclipse! This is the majority of the sprite work that ended up in the level, and there were several more enemies that I had worked on that so far have not been used in the game. This spritesheet has been blown up in size so you can see them a little better.
did the very first Scorch Raptor design based off my maverick design, and then it was refined by Yllisos Zanon. That sprite was the jump-off point, and what I used to create all the other sprites you see here. I used a ton of references from other Megaman characters to create Raptor's moves and attacks, namely Wheel Gator, Slash Man, Chill Penguin, Slash Beast, and I think Twin Mushroom.
